The Ugly Sandal

So, apparently orthopaedic sandals are all the rave now?! It seems the ‘Dad’ sandal really is a thing and I guarantee that you’ll love it a lot more than you think... If there’s one thing we can thank this trend for then it’s the needless compromise of comfort for fashion!

Basically, ditch the heels and instead, bag a pair of the ugliest sandals you can find! Imagine the sort of thing you and your friends might pick out in a game of who can find the ugliest thing in the shop (I KNOW I wasn’t the only 13 year old to do this).

The original Chanel Dad sandals that inspired this crazy sandal hype are sadly sold out everywhere, but many stores and e-tailers are selling dupes. Thankfully, these come with a much smaller price tag, because let’s be honest, £940 for a pair of sandals is just ever so slightly over the budget... So, I’ve attached a variety of alternatives that are just as amazingly ugly (remember, ugly is what we’re going for here) with the added bonus of not costing a mortgage!
